I have exhibited in London, Bristol, Bath, Frome, Chichester, Glasgow, Liverpool & Manchester. New York, Berlin, Paris & Toulouse. I have work in many private collections. You can see a collection of my work at The Tangerine Tree Cafe/Gallery Totnes Devon.
I paint with a mix of inks, oils, liquid metal, watercolour & gloss paint. I try all media to create the surface, texture I desire. I take the images from my mind, sometimes real sometimes a mix of my expressive emotions. Painting is an escape from complicated words & conversation. Everything I paint tells a story an insight. I love colour it can fill a room with warmth create an atmosphere that words can not touch. My work is always evolving moving it never stays the same. My work as an artist/illustrator is a full time job a passion a way of life, that fills everyday with something new. I have a head full of paintings waiting to get out. When I wake up in the early hours with an image I have to put it on paper before it gets lost in the jungle of my mind. I have seen so many beautiful things, also the darker side of life, places that leave a lasting mark, I don't dwell on these, they sometimes find a way into my paintings, sad mad things hidden in the warmth of colour the layers of the ocean a falling cascade under the fragile petal or behind the city with the lights left on.
